Sánchez: No proof Morocco orchestrated Ceuta border surge

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez stated that there is no indication Morocco’s government had a role in the recent influx of some 70,000 migrants crossing into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. He emphasized that both nations are working together following the incident, which involved as many as 141 people according to reports. The crossing last month marked one of the largest mass movements at the border in years.
